Why India:

India has a wide range of granite, marble, sandstone, limestone, slate and quartzite, scattered across the country and is also one of the largest producers of stone raw materials. The country has indigenous resources of machinery and tool makers, which cater well to the demands of this sector. The Indian stone industry has evolved into the production and manufacture of stone blocks, floor slabs, structural slabs, monument stones, tombstones, statues, artifacts, paving, coping, curbs, pebbles and garden stones.
